Alisa Maria Jones, M.P.H., a London Britain Township resident, is one of the Landscapes3 Steering Committee members. Jones is the president and chief executive officer of La Comunidad Hispana, which has offices in Kennett Square and Oxford.

Jones said she is honored to be a member of the steering committee–given its critical importance in setting the plan for the county’s future. She hopes to bring the perspectives of the nonprofit and Latino communities to the table. 

“Chester County is unique and fortunate to have a comprehensive plan for growth management and preservation strategies,” Jones said. “Landscapes provides a vision for the future that encompasses what we truly value as residents, business owners, and families who believe our county is the best place to live, work, pray, and play.”

The Chester County Commissioners established the steering committee in late June as part the development of the county’s next comprehensive plan. The steering committee will start meeting this fall to create the plan’s vision and goals.
