Seeking Input on New and Revised Landscapes3 Elements

Interested in providing input on Chester County’s future? The Chester County Planning Commission has released drafts of new and revised components of Landscapes3, the county’s next comprehensive plan, and is seeking input by July 31
Information was posted online and a packet was mailed to all municipalities in Chester County. Information includes landscapes maps and descriptions as well as the draft recommendations for the plan. While there will continue to be opportunities for comment after July 31, this is a great time for municipalities, partner organizations, and the public to give input before everything is pulled together into a final draft plan.

Once the Planning Commission receives feedback, the staff will prepare a full draft plan which will be available for further comment and review in the late summer/early fall. The formal Act 247 review process, when the final draft is available for review and comment, is anticipated to kick-off in October.

The Planning Commission would be happy to visit municipalities or partner organizations for a meeting or public presentation about Landscapes3.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meeting, please contact Planning Commission Executive Director Brian O’Leary at boleary@chesco.org or Planning Services Director Susan Elks, the project manager, at selks@chesco.org or 610-344-6285.
