Molly Morrison appointed to the Chester County Planning Commission

The Chester County Planning Commission is pleased to announce the Board of County Commissioners’ appointment of Molly Morrison to the Planning Commission.  Molly brings a balanced perspective of growth and preservation to the Commission.

Molly serves as president of Natural Lands Trust, one of the oldest and largest regional conservation organizations in the United States.  In addition to providing strategic leadership and fundraising for a staff of 70+, Ms. Morrison oversees a network of 43 preserves and more than 380 conservation easements.  Since the organization’s founding in 1953, Natural Lands Trust has saved more than 120,000 acres of land.

Ms. Morrison is past Chair and current board member of the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association (PALTA).  She serves on the Board of the Philadelphia Zoo; is a member of the Thornbury Township Historic Preservation Commission; and serves as a co-chair on the Open Space goal committee to VISTA 2025.
