“PennDOT Connects” Workshop for Chesco Municipalities
February 28 @ 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Attend this session to learn about how PennDOT Connects can help your community! PennDOT Connects is a new initiative to improve local collaboration for PennDOT maintenance resurfacing projects and projects to be included in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Municipal engagement is key to its implementation and success. The aim is to provide a more holistic and collaborative approach in project development to:
● Better link planning and engineering;
● Build partnerships; and
● Achieve multiple community goals and priorities with every transportation project.
At the session, you will meet with PennDOT, county, and DVRPC representatives who are engaged in this process. Municipalities will also have the opportunity to offer their input and help shape this evolving process.
Register and attend an informative two-hour session at the PennDOT Connects website under “Workshops” or here. Municipalities should encourage their municipal administrator, planner, engineer, or public works director to attend.
